While running a nonprofit organization during college, I discovered the nonprofit sector’s deficiencies in Web technology and communication. I soon found that those deficiencies existed in the grassroots activism and small business sectors as well. After a year of struggling with suboptimal Web solutions, I decided to build my technology knowledge and harness my inner geek.
Today, I design and develop media to help people communicate information and engage in productive dialogue. At Firestick Creative, I’m focused on building the capacity of Vermont’s media sector to deliver important information regarding human ecology and community development solutions. In my work on the Mindful Business Development team, I’ll be using my proficiency in Web development to help students and clients make the most of their online communication efforts.
